"Doctor Life" met with journalists
At a press conference dedicated to the completion of the first phase of treatment, Professor Jenishbek Nazaraliev, the initiator of the Doctor Life TV project and Andrei Ershov, the producer told about the main mission of the reality.
"We decided to treat the patients in the online regime, to show the world how we treat within the past 25 years; to show that the drug addicts are the same people who want to live, to have a family, children. We want the public to be tolerant towards such patients. Not to be afraid of them, but in every way help and support them. And the main goal - is to prevent drug abuse in the world "- Nazaraliev said.
The professor also pointed out the importance of the project in particular to Kyrgyzstan. After all, the doctor’s clinic is located here. Patients come from all over the world to the professional doctors.
One of such patients is Andrey Kroshanov, a participant of the Doctor Life reality. He arrived for the treatment with his wife, Olga.
"Yes, I was treated in many hospitals, but I’ve never seen such treatment and such work with patients. Here people actually help you, explain that you can live without drugs. And now I believe in it and I feel good. If there will be at least one person who will quit drugs after the reality, then everything was done for a reason!", - he said.
For the question asked by reporters whether there will be a prize for the participants at the end, the producer Andrei Ershov said:
"It is meaningless to give prizes such as balloons. You have to understand what it's all done for. Professor treats, and does not give out the prizes".
"Here the gift is life! That's what the Doctor Life project is different from other reality shows"- Nazaraliev added.
To get the so-called "gift", the participants of the reality will continue the treatment at the Issyk-Kul. During the week, they will live in yurts, meditating daily at sunrise and sunset, bit by bit "polishing" their minds, the professor says.
