Catch the void
Once on the shore of an alpine lake, the heroes of Doctor Life got in the wonderful world. Its reality is relative, discovery of how things work is strictly through meditation. Carlos Castaneda, Zabriskie Point, and the archetypal foundations of the universe Jung pops up in one’s head.
At the beginning of the series, Professor Jenishbek Nazaraliev tells the TV project participants, what breath is, and what can be its practical application. For example, by using the breathing technique for five minutes, you can relieve the symptoms of depression, gain confidence in yourself and energy for the day. But the professor speaks more pointedly - breathing can catch the emptiness. Since then a sensation of being in a vicious circle increases.
Participants are asked to collectively work to build the maze. The psychologist explains that the theory of Jung, the labyrinth allows the person who gets into it to reborn. The monks built labyrinths as symbols of overcoming doubts and access to the true faith. The occupational therapy is good for all the participants. Later, they took turns raising each other on two fingers and overcoming the fear by falling back on the outstretched hands of the other participants. Ekaterina performs a solo from the verse of Guf, a rapper: "... and eight out of ten guys, they say, will recover". Doubts disappear - the participants are exactly these eight guys.
Later follows the program of psychotrainings - Mindcrafting. The dervish dancing allows at the expense of the left "logical" hemisphere to trigger the right "creative" hemisphere. Spinning in one place with outstretched hand on which the mind is focused, gives the effect of soaring and blur world. This is how the funnel works and how the spirit is released. It is known that the dervishes themselves could spin endlessly in comprehending the incomprehensible world order.
Professor Nazaraliev also told how the idea of gathering the Eastern meditation practice and the Western transpersonal psychology appeared. During his travels around the world, when he traveled to five continents and over 40 countries, he met a yogi, who taught him breathing - based on Mindcrafting. After testing the effect of its impact on the physical and emotional state, a Professor at once found an answer to yogi: it's a feeling of emptiness, he said. Absolutely, yogi said. After returning back, the Professor took with him six patients who underwent rehabilitation at the hospital and went to the Highlands, where he spent the first program of the body and the spirit recovery.
When looking at the Doctor Life participants, you can see that the experienced in knowledge, and the most simple of them express the same interest in the program. The bell rings and sitting in a circle, facing outward, the participants begin to practice "Aum". The word "Aum" is also a protoform for many sacred words through which people are freed from the momentary presence here and now and go into a suspended state of balance between the past and the future. Time stops until you are inside the sound of "Aum".
The bath on the shore of the lake must be mentioned separately. Plastered with curative mud, the participants, who looked very similar to goblins and laughing at each other, pass a compulsory detoxification procedure. Professor Nazaraliev reminds the participants that they need to drive the salt of heavy metal from the joints. Only then can we say that they are completely free from the consequences of drug abuse. The participants, who for a moment, felt like a resort visitors, liked the steam and diving into the waves of the lake.
At the end of a series, the Doctor Life participants talked with the instructor in Mindcrafting about the wrong perception of drug addicts and a nasty attitude of the society towards them. Irina Anisimova in particular said that drug addicts are capable of anything, not for the buzz, but to restore normal health. They are sick people, she insisted. All listeners agreed with her, but the terseness at the table already hinted for the next six participants about the "silence" in the remote yurts, which will last the whole day. The Italian and Anatoliy who were jailed several times, will not go through this training, and they seemed a little upset. The silent solitude has never stopped anyone in acquiring the necessary feelings of emptiness.
