New “I”

Despite the fact that the construction of the labyrinth accompanied by quarrels and squabbles, it still turned out the way it was originally planned. And even much better. Eight stone pyramids on its edges symbolized the number of the Doctor Life project participants. Blazing torches illuminated the territory where the maze was built.

Ordinary stones, collected by the participants and lined in a special pattern, now had a deeper meaning and force, as the basic elements of a mysterious structure. Twilight and soft, charming sounds of didgeridoo and wooden drums set up a special atmosphere.

"Sorry mom, brother forgive me, forgive me all those who died of overdose with me ... The one I first pricked, whom I deceived ..."

Not everyone could enter this place. That is why at the entrance to the labyrinth two oracles were standing. Previously, these prophets were seen as the gate through which you could communicate directly with the deity, and ask questions. That’s what our participants did.

Anatoliy Nesmiyanov performed this ritual first. All his way to the center of the maze and back, a participant from Magadan asked forgiveness of all those whom he had once caused pain.

"Sorry mom, brother forgive me, forgive me all those who died of overdose with me ... The one I first pricked, whom I deceived ..." - he said with tears in her eyes.

His girlfriend Ekaterina also could not hold the emotions while coming out of the labyrinth. At some point, she had a strange fear, and she was a little confused inside. Let us recall that the passage through the labyrinth symbolizes a renewal, transformation and rebirth.

"This tells us that there is a chaos in the soul…" - Fatima Raimkulova, a psychologist commented.

"When I was going back, I was thinking about the future, and in my future this disease was not there!"

It was hard to go through a maze to the other participant - Irina. She was also the one who built it and knew every pebble. But as a result, she had a confused look and one desire not to lose her way.

"As I walked the labyrinth, I thought at first, whether I went the right way. And the labyrinth did not end. I went out, dizzy and nauseous, perhaps because I was going in a circle, I do not know why. I even could not say anything,"- she said.

And the Italian originally did not believe much in the idea and the strength of the maze. That is why he went the last, after listening to all seven participants. After he had shared:

"When I was carrying stones, I thought: "I'm not a Tajik, and I'm not in the construction!"But when I went there, walked and came out, Fatima says: "You did not believe in it, right?!” She took my hand, and it was shaking. "When I was going back, I was thinking about the future, and in my future this disease was not there!"

By the way, all the participants experienced fear. While going through each circle, they realized who they were. On the way back they all wanted to go faster - to another life, with positive thoughts and a new "I".
