The World League “Mind Free of Drugs” and “Ural without Drugs” unite their efforts
The World League “Mind Free of Drugs”, the non-governmental organization and the drug rehabilitation Centre “Ural without Drugs” signed the memorandum about their plans to start the cooperation in the common anti-drug activity.
The exchange of the succesful experience of the anti-drug activity and rehabilitation of the drug addicts are among the plans of the World League and “Ural without drugs”. The state drug institution “Ural without drugs” was founded by the order of Eugene Kuivashev, the governor of the Svedlov region in July of 2012. For this period of time “Ural without drugs” showed itself as a new institution, open for the international experience of drug addiction treatment.
Vladimir Putin noted the high effectiveness of the “Ural without drugs” and supported the initiative of Eugene Kuivashev.He also considers the opportunity of creating the similar funds all over the Russia.
The World League “Mind Free of Drugs” is the public organization that applies the innovative methods in the prevention of drug addiction all over the world. The major focus of the Wolrd League is to conduct the anti-drug actions at the new technological platforms in Internet: the anti-drug contest Mayaplanet.org; the blog of the AIDS infected drug addicted woman “Don’t die, Mom!”; the unique TV project “Doctor Life” about the rehabilitation of 8 drug addicts from Russia, Germany and the United States.
“Today, we have to define our priorities. One of them is quite obvious: the introduction of the innovative methods of the medical and social rehabilitation,” Anton Poddubny, the senior doctor of the drug center, stated in his address on the official website of “Ural without drugs”.
According to Jenishbek Nazaraliev, the President of the World League “Mind Free of Drugs”, the major goal of the Wolrd League projects is to form the tolerance in the public consciousness towards the drug addicted people. Absolutely the same goals pursues “Ural without drugs”, founded in order to return the drug addicts to the normal life.
The cooperation of the World League and “Ural without drugs” will lead to the improvement of the anti-drug activity in Russia, Ural in particular.
