Along his business trip to the republic of Tuva, Doctor had also met with the local medical society. The hall of the Folk Art in the city of Kyzyl, was over crowded with people. More than 600 people from different hospitals, clinics and institutions came to have a talk with a popular doctor.

Doctor was presented a gift from local community, a winter fur hat, as a sign of respect, gratitude and reminded that Tuvinians and Kyrgyz people have a connection as their ancient history held its roots at the banks of Enisey River.

The head of the Government mr. Shalban Kara-Ool had emphasized that he places big hopes in cooperation with Professor Nazaraliev. Unfortunately more than 6000 people suffer alcohol addiction and most of them are women, the Head of the Government says. All of them are our brothers and sisters who need our help. We have already started establishing centers and communities where alcoholics can receive professional help. Alcoholism is a serious illness and it must be treated. Doctor Nazaraliev is the author of a unique treatment method and I hope we can and will implement it here in Tuva.

After the speech, a trailer movie was demonstrated to the audience, and later professor answered questions addressed to him by the public. As doctor explains, the problem of alcoholism is the ease to buy alcoholic drinks, plus the environment itself provokes people to start drinking. The treatment methods for alcohol and drug abuse are basically similar, but it is much harder to treat alcohol addicting in comparison to drug addiction.

Answering a particular question if it is possible to rid of pathological craving for alcohol. As doctor explained, - that most importantly we need to understand and determine the true reason for alcoholism. Whether it is a psychological or a genetic addiction, or a social problem. According to medical statistics, 15% of alcoholism is based on genetic reasons. Such patients must always be under the control of a psychiatrist.  The rest 85% can be treated in one course.

The main key to a successful treatment is the realization and self-critics of the patient in regards to his illness. He must realize that he is sick. There were also mass of practical questions such as how to get into the doctors clinic, how much does treatment cost, what is the effectiveness and the success rate, finally if doctor is conducting an internship in his institution or not. Doctor answered all possible questions. The audience learnt that the success rate when treating alcohol addiction is 90% and drug addiction is 86 %. The duration of the course is 40 days and the cost of total treatment is 120,000 rubbles.

There were comments that it was too expensive, to which doctor replied that you do not have to pay for treatment if you never start drinking.

Today is the 7^th of December, the visit of professor Nazaraliev to Tuva will continue until the 11^th.  During this time many question at the round table have to be discussed and the agreement between the medical center of dr. Nazaraliev and the Government of Tuva is planned for signing.
