The interest of journalists in the Doctor Life project is not running out even after the final episode’s broadcast. The correspondent of the National Channel network Elmar Osmonov told about the problem of drug addiction in his country and demonstrated efficient method of kicking off the bad habit taking the Doctor Life project into account in his program ‘The voice of life’.

The journalist accentuated the urgency of the problem starting with the story of one of the patients of Medical Centre of Professor Nazaraliev.

‘Some countries are legalizing the sale of drugs. Controlled substances are becoming the norm of people, however, they are not improving their life’ – it is said in report.

It is confirmed by Professor Jenishbek B.Nazaraliev himself.

‘Drugs are available in our country and they are very cheap. For example, one dose of heroin or raw opium is much cheaper than to visit café or cinema’ – says Professor.

The Reality project accentuated on the opportunity to observe what drug addicts do experience at every stage of the project and to see how difficult it is to become free again. It is no doubt that meets one of the tasks set by the global project – drug prevention all over the world and formation of deliberate immunity to drugs.

‘The average age of drug addicts has significantly reduced. Drugs are becoming a new youth-oriented trend. And what can I oppose to it? How can I explain that it leads to nowhere? What can arrest their attention? And force them to think at the same time? – questions Professor Nazaraliev.

And further he explains that reality on how eight drug addicted people from all over the world undergo the treatment at his clinic is good method of starting dialogue with youth in their language on drug addiction problems.

What is the aftermath of the treatment and post-project life of the participants? To what the director of the project replies:

‘Doctors keep in touch with them almost every day. Most of them have found works, tried to get rid of previous contacts. People are starting a new life’.

The attitude towards drug addicted in public opinion is raised in the program. And people in the streets were asked: ‘Are there any ex-drug addicts and how are they treated?’ in the end of the program.

Responses do vary however what is strange positive attitude prevails. Does that mean that our society is starting to understand that drug addicted people are the same people that once made a mistake and they need help now. And will one of the missions of the project - to form tolerant attitude towards drug addicted people in society – be successful soon?
