"I do sympathize with what you do. Emphatically, I would like people to focus on drug problems with a scientific attitude.

Find out the causes of the problems. Addiction is a symptom, not a cause. Treat drug addicts as patients, not as criminals. Also the drug traffickers can be looked upon as victims. They may have turned into criminals, and I am not against heavy punishments, but I also want to know the causes: why did they turn criminal, and what measures could have been taken to avoid this?

But all this is far from my field of competence, I know that these are difficult problems, often with more that one side to them, and I cannot give more useful advices."
